INSIDE SALES - CUSTOMER SERVICE WRISCO INDUSTRIES INC. is seeking an inside customer service salesperson due to increased sales growth in our Chicago and Edison, NJ Divisions. The inside sales representative will be selling primarily WRISCO’S prefinished aluminum sheets and coils – painted, anodized, kynar and mill finish. In addition, the candidate will be marketing WRISCO’S custom computerized sheet metal fabrication; aluminum storefront panels; Alpolic aluminum composite material (ACM) panels; 24 gauge kynar painted steel galvalume; aluminum extrusions, tubing and angle; aluminum sign blanks; channel letter coil; signage supplies; miscellaneous aluminum metal supplies; aluminum awnings; patio covers; screen and glass room enclosures. Several of the many industries WRISCO services are the glass/storefront, roofing, sheet metal, metal fabrication, signage, screen printing, architectural metal, gas station canopy, lighting, race car, trailer body, awning, display, exhibit, refrigeration, home improvement and general contractors to name a few. Inside salespeople are responsible for servicing and maintaining established accounts and generating/closing prospective customers. The inside salesperson communicates with the customer/prospect via the telephone – mostly through incoming calls for orders or quotations. Contact with the customer is also done through email and fax. In addition, the inside salesperson will deal face-to-face with the will call/walk-in customer. The inside salesperson’s main function is to process the customer’s order accurately and expeditiously in order to satisfy and benefit the customer’s needs. The majority of the inside salesperson’s time is spent working with customers – order taking, price quoting and problem solving. During periods of inactivity, or when management assigns projects, the salesperson also is responsible for doing telemarketing – whether it’s following up on quotes, a friendly hello to customers or seeking new business via cold-call telemarketing. The inside salesperson must be knowledgeable on all WRISCO products, services and procedures. In addition, the inside salesperson must keep management and the outside salespeople abreast of what’s happening in the field – whether it’s selling, pricing or competition – the inside desk is the mission control and lifeline of the division’s sales activity. The individual must be a self-motivated, go-getter with excellent organizational, task, computer and time management skills. Must be able to handle a number of tasks at one time and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. The individual must be ambitious, positive thinking and hard working to properly reach their designated sales goals. Must take initiative and not require constant guidance – take and use the tools they’ve been given and perform. TRUCK DRIVER - WAREHOUSE WRISCO EDISON JOB POSTED September 9, 2009 WRISCO INDUSTRIES INC. is seeking a full-time, career oriented driver/warehouse person for our Edison, NJ Division. The qualified person will be a standby, back up delivery driver for our fleet of four trucks. Excellent customer service and relationship skills are required due to extensive customer interaction while working the delivery route. In addition, when not performing the duties of a truck driver, the employee will work in the warehouse processing and pulling orders as directed by management. The qualified person should possess a Class B CDL license. The individual must be able to drive a 10-speed, dual axle, 26’ box truck. A clean MVR is a must. DOT physical, drug test and clean background check is mandatory. Overnight travel will be expected on occasion. Knowledge of the New York Metro area is helpful.
