41st Annual Wrisco Winternationals at East Bay Raceway

BATAVIA, OHIO (February 6, 2017) – For over 40 years, East Bay Raceway Park, Tampa, FL, has been accustomed to some of the most exciting events in dirt late model racing. In 2017, the tradition continues with the 41st Annual Wrisco Industries Winternationals – Presented by E3 Spark Plugs.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will invade the 1/3-mile bullring on Sunday, February 12th for an Open Practice session from 6:00pm – 9:00pm – followed by six straight nights of racing action. From February 13th through February 18th the nation’s top dirt late model drivers will battle in pursuit of nearly $200,000 in prize money.

Each day will feature a full program of racing that includes: Hot Laps, Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash, and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series main event. Each day, the Drivers Meeting will take place at 5:15pm, followed by Hot Laps at 6:00pm.

Wrisco Ups the Ante with Speedweeks Championship Chase!

BATAVIA, OHIO (February 03, 2017) – Wrisco Industries – the title sponsor of the East Bay Wrisco Industries Winternationals – will present the 2017 Wrisco Industries Speedweeks Championship Chase.

The Wrisco Industries Speedweeks Championship Chase will begin with a doubleheader at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA – followed by six straight nights of racing at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL – before concluding at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL.

The bonus program will offer the top eight drivers in the Wrisco Industries Speedweeks Championship Chase a $500 bonus for maintaining perfect attendance through the nine Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned events.

ROMAN BENDER ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Roman Bender retired from Wrisco Industries Inc. after 42 years on January 13, 2017.  A Chicago native, Roman has been the Division Manager of Wrisco Chicago as well as the company’s Vice President and Secretary.   Thank you Roman for your many years of service and many contributions towards the continued success of Wrisco.  Best Wishes to Roman and his family – enjoy your retirement to the fullest!

Amy Williams – Treasurer, Controller & Asst Secretary

Congratulations goes out to Amy Williams of Wrisco’s Corporate Office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida!  Amy has recently been promoted to Treasurer, Controller and Assistant Secretary for Wrisco Industries Inc.  An employee since 2010, Amy’s strong dedication and leadership skills have made her a valuable asset and a major contributor towards Wrisco’s continued success.

Steve Grisko New Chicago Division Manager

Welcome Steve Grisko as Wrisco Chicago’s new Division Manager.  Steve’s background includes a Mechanical Engineering degree along with a MBA and he brings to Wrisco more than 30 years of successful Executive, Management and Sales experience.  Steve is taking over for Roman Bender.  Roman, who just celebrated his 42nd year with Wrisco, will be retiring in January 2017.    Wrisco is proud to have Steve as a member of the Chicago Team.

Gemini Thielman Staff Accountant

Our Corporate Office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL warmly welcomes Staff Accountant Gemini Thielman as the newest member of the Wrisco Team!  Gemini has worked in the accounting field since 2000 as a Staff Accountant for U.S. Nutrition and as a Controller for several businesses.  In 2013, Gemini and his wife, Ella, moved from Long Island, New York, to Florida.  In his free time, Gemini enjoys bowling on a league, cooking for friends and studying nuclear physics.  Glad to have you aboard!
